Old Danforth Street bridge

Not far from Concord Street in the Saxonville neighborhood of Framingham is the old Danforth Street bridge. It has undergone reconstruction and as we see here in November 2003 it looks very good.

Carol J. Getchell Nature Trail

The Carol J. Getchell Nature Trail starts near the intersection of Sudbury Landing and Danforth Street near the old Danforth Street bridge in Saxonville. The trail heads north from here paralleling the Sudbury River. This sign marks the start of the trail. The trail was given it's name in honor of Carol J. Getchell's dedication to the Saxonville community.
